Hello, this is Nikki! The other half of the goofy Side Eye girls. I’m the half that sounds like 2 chipmunks arguing over leftover bologna.

I do the podcast because I really want to share the joy of having conversations with Traci.  We will be going separate ways soon so to say that this is completely for the listeners is a lie.  I will be reminiscing all our shenanigans once we are on separate coasts and this is one way to help me do that.

As Traci has pointed out we both work for a t-shirt company outside of the podcast.  I’m also a huge comedy nerd so you can find me watching or performing improv, sketch, and stand up comedy.  Hopefully more performing than watching…Go New Year’s Resolutions!

To give you more of a glimpse into me, here are some random questions:

1. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I want to learn how to use animation software but if I’m thinking thinking outside the box, it’d be awesome to know how to build a time machine.

2. If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be?
Animal: A giraffe.  Tighest outfit existing in nature, they know that the leaves they’re eating haven’t been peed on by a jackal, and they always have the best view.  Unless they are in a zoo, then it’s kinda sad that they can see a Chik-Fil-A but can’t go to it.  I just made myself sad.

Drink:  Amaretto Sour.  I wish I had something funny to say about it but it’s a solid drink.

Ice Cream: Cookies and Cream Ice Cream with pretzels in it.  Again I can’t be funny about this.  It makes fat fun.

3. What part of pop culture do you wish would just go away?
Top 40 radio.  I get it but I am so tired of hearing the same song over and over.  Cee-lo is great, his album was great, F*ck You is a great song, until you’ve heard it for the 100th time that day.  Radio stations currently playing Adele, please see above.

4. What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod?
My favorite song of all time is “Everybody got their something” by Nikka Costa.  It’s true, everybody DOES have their something.  So not being sarcastic but because this is all text you can’t know for sure… but for real I love that song.

5. What do you miss most about being a kid?
The idea of what was hard was so simple: a math problem, pushing an overweight friend on a swing…Now it’s like losing a job is hard, not having health insurance is hard, death is hard.  The scales are not even at all.

6. What is the funniest thing you have heard a child say?
My nephew slapped my other nephew on the head with a broom when he was little.  So we scolded him and told him to say , “I’ll be on my best behavior.”   He said “I best be on my havior.”  … It’s not a “You had to be there moment”, it’s more like a ” I wish I had something funnier to tell you guys so you weren’t giving me the side eye right now moment”

7. Where’s Waldo?
On the toilet.  Reading.
